3 tbsp all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp cumin powder
½ cup 2% milk (use whole milk or half-and-half for richer flavor)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
½ – 1 tsp hot sauce (optional, for a spicy kick)
