As soon as the weather starts to cool off i crave for a comforting, hearty soup. This soup is the best of delicious stuffed peppers in a bowl.
It’s a simple, soothing, warming soup with ground beef and bell peppers and tomatoes and rice. and for mine i love to add a little garlic and a little onion to ramp up the fragrance.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 cups cooked rice
4 cups beef broth
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
2 cups bell peppers, chopped (use red, green, or both)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
